What we Believe

We believe in the doctrines of God’s free grace, often described as Calvinism. We practise baptism by immersion for believers only. Though not necessary for salvation, we believe this is necessary before church membership and partaking of the Lord’s Supper.

We believe:

  • There is only one true and living God 


  • The Bible is God's infallible Word 


  • God created all things in six days 


  • Man is a fallen, sinful creature and can in no way save himself 


  • God has a chosen people. Jesus, the eternal Son of God, redeemed them by his death on the cross. All of them, and only they, will come to heaven at last 


  • All who are saved by Jesus Christ should seek grace at all times to live to God's honour and glory and act consistently with His word 



  • That those who are called by God to repentance and blessed with faith in Jesus Christ have eternal life
